For the continuance of “Raj”, why blame poor sub-ordinate officers by calling “Inspector Raj”!

inspector raj stop - slogan“Inspectors” are easy to blame for all follies of economic experts: From Finance Minister to Corporate personnel, it has always been a fashion to blame “Inspectors” for the folly, blunder and even evasion of industries and corporate business houses. Last November 2014, the Prime Minister Modi also talked about “cutting down inspector raj” in the context of labour (Ministry of Labour)[1]. The “inspectors” have always been easy target for them, as they have been subordinate to everybody and all can use and abuse them by all means, speaking before any forum. Therefore, it is not all surprise, a person like Raghuram Rajan has chosen to target such species and accuse them for economic reasons. As it is a PTI news, the media just carried the stuff as such with some different captions. Addressing ministers, bankers, bureaucrats and other stakeholders at the 4th Odisha Knowledge Hub, Raghuram Rajan said that[2], “Stating that the government needed to create a proper environment for the start ups…….though India has done away with the licence raj, inspector raj continues to some extent“.  But, if the licence raj could have been done away by the government, why not  inspector raj? Why then government allow such “inspector raj” to some extent?

Raghuram Rajan - inspector raj continues to some extentNow his cited examples are about “factory and boiler inspectors”: He added that, factory and boiler inspectors and other field level regulators should have adequate knowledge on the initiatives being taken by the government and RBI for the betterment of small and medium enterprises[3]. Light regulation, he said, is very important in small and medium enterprise sector and a heavy regulation many times do not give easy entry and easy exit which is why people keep away from it[4]. Field level regulators must have information regarding the initiatives, he added[5]. The RBI governor appreciated the system of self certification for the industries[6]. He, however, said the authorities should ensure that there is no misuse of it[7]. If he is so worried about these “inspectors”, the connected Acts and Rules can be amended to empower higher officers to visit factories, inspect the machinery, pipes and line installed and certify themselves. Perhaps, the industries and corporate houses might be so convenient with their visits instead of the poor creatures “inspectors”!

FDA to bring Inspector Raj - 06_08_2015_001_062Misuse of self certification for the industries, as apprehended by him: declaration, statement, certification, sealing etc., are now allowed to the industries themselves, instead of government officers to come and do under self-declaration, self-sealing schemes. However, as there is no check, at one point, the industries start exploiting it, as there is none to verify such  self-declaration or self-sealing leading to misdeclaration and hence evasion etc. How then, the authorities could ensure that there is no misuse of it? Verifying the self-declaration or self-sealing, implying that somebody should go to the premises where such activities are taking place, verify the facts before and after such processes and then get satisfied about the facts. Who would do it? As “inspectors” cannot be sent with such biased, prejudiced and preconceived notions against them, only higher officers should go.

GV Sreedhar about Inspector Raj on duty of jewellery“…though India has done away with the licence raj, inspector raj continues to some extent”[8]: Here also, the expression “to some extent” used has been dubious, obviously to please the audience or to show off that the higher officers, government top-level bureaucrats and such other species have been angels, whereas, the creatures like “inspectors” are despicable devils. If it is not “whole extent”, why “to some extent”? Remove it totally! Actually, while carrying out the PTI news and printing faithfully, the media has not come out with facts[9]. None talks about “Superintendent Raj”, “Collector Raj”, “Commissioner Raj” etc, as if they have no role to play. After all, the powers are delegated and percolated from top to bottom and not the other way. The “inspectors” are chosen to visit factors situated at hundreds of kms away from his work-spot. And as per the provisions of the Act and Rules, he has to go there and conduct his inspection and report to his higher officer. The higher officers insist inspector to take all responsibilities in writing on the note sheets of all files. They simply sign, that is all. However, if any benefit is there, that should come to them, before or after signing! Then, Rajan, kindly and honestly tell the public, who is encouraging the “Inspector Raj” to some extent?

Salt Inspector - PremchandFrom “Salt Inspector” to “Central Excise Inspector” to “Factory and boiler inspectors”: The Bengali writer Munshi Premchand (1880-1936) has explained the practical difficulties faced and pressures exerted on his by others, while a salt inspector (Namak ka daroga) was discharging his duties during Jamindar Raj and Brirish Raj. Particularly, how a honest salt inspector had to suffer at the hangs of all. Almost, the situations and conditions were faced by Central Excise Inspectors and all used to ridicule and blame them. And now the “factory and boiler inspectors” have become target of the Government babus. Last month, he commented[10] that with India being often described as ‘the bright spot in the global economy’, as he could see, that as a case of “the one-eyed man” being king in the land of the blind!

Ine land of blind, the one eyed man is king“……….the one-eyed man” being king in the land of the blind!: The proverb “in the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king” has the following connotations:

  1. Among others with adisadvantage ordisability, the one with the mildest disadvantage or disability is regarded as the
  1. Even someone without much talent or ability is considered special by those with no talent or ability at all.
  1. Someone that can see his actions transpire in determination makes the most out of every other thing disconnected.

India has been always considered as “a land of blind, idiots………” etc., by the colonial rulers, western sarcastic friends and of course, faithful Indian critics. They have been very happy to mention about the story of “four blind men touching and describing elephants”!  So expert like him has chosen such simile to desribe Indian economy. Whether “the one-eyed man-king” as referred to is the PM or otherwise, or Indian is that “the land of the blind” is not known, but, is intent is revealed. Such comments are coming out, now only and not before, though, he has been living in the same land!  Actually, it was picked up from the poem “The Blind Men and the Elephant” by John Godfrey Saxe (1816–1887), which is as follows:

It was six men of Indostan
To learning much inclined,
Who went to see the Elephant
(Though all of them were blind),
That each by observation
Might satisfy his mind.

By criticizing the people of India, he cannot get any benefit. So by commenting that “…….though India has done away with the licence raj, inspector raj continues to some extent“, what benefit he would get?

[1]The new system, thus, is expected to cut down the Inspector Raj that has hobbled the industry so far, and address wages and pensions for workers. And right after the inauguration, 1,800 labour inspectors across the country will get text messages from the Prime Minister, apprising them of the new rules……..  Inspection lists would now be made centrally – and the list of inspectors will be generated randomly by computer. Every inspection will have objective criteria and the report will have to be uploaded on the unified portal within 72 hours.

How is that Indians still do not know as to “Good Friday” is “Good” or “Bad” or that day is for mourning or celebration?

March 29, 2016

How is that Indians still do not know as to “Good Friday” is “Good” or “Bad” or that day is for mourning or celebration?

why Indians do not know about Good Fridsay 25-03-2016Business people want to do business on holidays: In a week filled with public holidays including Holi, Good Friday and Easter [(25-03-2016 (Friday), 26-03-2016 (Saturday) and 27-03-2016 (Sunday)], e-commerce sites have tried to capitalise on the four-day weekend by luring shoppers with heavy discounts[1]. It is quite natural thay business people want to do business on holidays! Therefore, the use of term ‘good Friday’ in a promotional campaign by E-commerce firm Snapdeal on Good Friday, a day observed to commemorate the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, triggered a row, after which the company apologised[2], as reported by the Indian press is intriguing. It added the feason that the content of the promotions did not go down well with members of the Christian community, as despite its name, Good Friday is not a day of celebration. Instead, it is the day on which Christians commemorate the crucifixion and death of Jesus Christ. It is a day of fasting and penance for the community. It is in this context that some Christians felt that the advertisements put out by Snapdeal and Myntra were in bad taste[3]. Though, these media-guys suddenly became so “christian” to defend christians had not been intelligent enough to poin out the faux pas. Ironically, the so-called intelligent or secular Indian media did not point out when the ads were put on.

Snapdeal Good Friday 40 percent offerSnapdeal and Myntra offers on Good Friday: Issuing an (sic) statement, the e-tailer said: “We regret the tag line used. It is an error on our part”. “We extend our sincere apologies to all whose feelings we may have hurt inadvertently. We will work to ensure that something like this never happens again,” said a Snapdeal spokes person[4]. To cash in on the extended weekends due to Holi and Good Friday, Snapdeal had sent promotional e-mails to its customers with a subject line “It’s a really really good Friday|Flat 40% Off[5]. Another retailer Myntra also reportedly run a similar promotional campaign offering steep discounts ranging from 50 per cent to 80 per cent to its buyers on the day[6]. Despite several efforts, Myntra company officials could not be reached for comments. However, a section of people (Christians) felt offended to this as Good Friday is not a day of celebration.

why Indians do not know about Good Fridsay - Christians object-25-03-2016It (the objection of Christians) started with Goa: “I was appalled when I got the app notification from Myntra,” said Fernando Monte Da Silva, a journalist from Panjim in Goa. “I was shocked at the ignorance and insensitivity on display.” Silva said the prefix “Good” often misleads people into thinking it is a day for celebration. There are several theories surrounding the etymology of Good Friday, one of them being that the day is “good” because Christ showed his love for mankind by dying for their sins. However, Silva said this confusion could not be used an excuse in the case. “I had a professor who wished me for Good Friday, but that is an honest mistake,” said Silva. “In a company as big as Myntra, I would assume that there would be levels of scrutiny before such content is (are) put out. Ignorance is one thing, but when you’re using it as a promo to generate revenue, that’s just taking it a tad too far.” Silva shared a screenshot of the alert on his Facebook page and triggered a debate over whether sheer ignorance was at play or whether the content writers had pushed the boundaries of creativity. Thus, this news was also created out of Twitter only!

While few BJP leaders were wrong, Modi was correct on “Good Friday”: The faux pas occurred on a day when two senior BJP leaders were today left embarrassed after they set Twitter abuzz with criticism by “wishing happiness” on the occasion of Good Friday. After all when the business people with all nuances could not know “Good Friday” is “bad”, how the poor BJP leaders know. Any way, Modi tweeteed, “Good Friday is a day of prayer & a day to remember the noble, pious & compassionate thoughts of Jesus Christ, that touched many lives”! Any way, these Hindutwa guys have not been so sophisticated as the crooked, atheist and secular Karunanidhi who wishes and weeps dramatically for all non-Hindu festivals or mournings without fail, even if they forget.

Tech In Asia ‘s campaign against campaign:  Eye-popping sales and deals of the week are pretty standard marketing gimmicks for retailers across the world, online or offline[7], thus noted one Techniasia. In India, where ecommerce is seeing breakneck growth, taking up any opportunity to promote sales has become a pretty standard deal. There are Diwali sales, Christmas deals, regional celebrations and in true American fashion, even back to school campaigns. However, it has failed to record that these campaigners too had gone in “American fashion” but, took it as “Black Friday”! Over the weekend, two Indian biggies – Snapdeal and Myntra, owned by Flipkart – pushed the envelope so far, it all fell apart. They used Good Friday, the day observed to commemorate the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, as promotional material. Not surprisingly, customers lashed out online, thus, Techniasia continued its big lie, as if “all customers” indulged in such lashing out. “We know it’s a Good Friday when you get 50-80 percent off,” said a Myntra campaign[8]. Snapdeal went along similar lines, saying it was a “really really good Friday,” peddling a flat forty percent off campaign on the website. Snapdeal has since apologized for the faux pas, but Myntra just told Tech In Asia it had no comments i.e, they could not be reached[9].

Indians do not know Good Fridsay - Modi and his collegues-25-03-2016Snapdeal’s Arvind confessed that they were ignorant about Good Friday!: That’s telling, given how a marketing campaign in these companies would have to be vetted and approved by an entire team before it went live, and couldn’t simply be a slip by one person. “There is pressure of increasing sales on all retailers, and it’s not just on online ones. But this purely a reflection of the ineptness of the marketing department at these companies,” chairman of management consulting firm TechnopakAdvisors told Tech in Asia. However, most industry watchers said this wouldn’t make a lasting dent on either company’s brand image. India is a secular country, but about 80 percent of its population is Hindu. Industry experts say the blunder may have been lost on a number of customers, who themselves may not be well acquainted with the significance of the day of mourning. “This is ignorance, but this won’t hurt the companies in the long run. When it comes to brand image, I don’t think customers will remember for too long,” Arvind said.

Black Friday and Good Friday in American way: BlacThe business people obviously confused with “Black Friday” (sales and shopping) with “Good Friday”! Thanksgiving Day in the United States (the fourth Thursday of November). Since 1932, it has been regarded as the beginning of the Christmas shopping season in the US, and most major retailers open very early (and more recently during overnight hours) and offer promotional sales. Black Friday is not an official holiday, but California and some other states observe “The Day After Thanksgiving” as a holiday for state government employees, sometimes in lieu of another federal holiday such as Columbus Day[10]. Many non-retail employees and schools have both Thanksgiving and the following Friday off, which, along with the following regular weekend, makes it a four-day weekend, thereby increasing the number of potential shoppers. It has routinely been the busiest shopping day of the year since 2005[11].

Has Christianity and Christ failed in India?: From Snapdeal to Myntra amd politicians do not know about the significance of “Good Friday”, how common people of India know? For example, how many of Indian Christians, who were converted from Hindu religion really know about it mourn? The missionaries had been fooling the heathen Indians, idolatrous Hindus and what not for the last 300 years, but, yet, the “enlightened” converted Christians could not understand the theology of Good Friday and Easter. This clearly proves the religious fraud, failure of Christianity and Christ and utter uselessness of their theology. Why then thousands of missionaries of A to Z denominations come here, spent millions and loot millions to foll Indians and also fool themselves. Let them take a relook at themselves, as the commericial companies did blunder.

Why the priest of Gunadala Mary Matha Church is involved in sexploitation and it is reported selectively?

Why the priest of Gunadala Mary Matha Church is involved in sexploitation and it is reported selectively?

Mary Matha Church Gunadala, Vijayawada, where a priest is involved in sex-porn

Gunadala Mary Matha Church priest involved in sexual exploitation: The management of a Catholic church at Gunadala Mary Matha Church here, which landed in a major controversy following charges of sexual misconduct of a priest, reportedly began inquiry into the episode[1]. “The Times of India” mentions its name, whereas, “The Hindu” does not mention the name of the church involved. The roots of this case seem to be deep as the city police reportedly had to take 11 members into police custody for interrogation as on Saturday 12-03-2016[2]. The religious head had paid ransom to a gang[3]. Not satisfied with the payment, the gang demanded more money and threatened the victim, who approached the police. The priest is understood to have told the police that he paid more than Rs. 1 crore to the gang[4]. He alleged the extortionists, who befriended him, morphed his image in a pornographic film and collected money from him. “It is a fact that a gang blackmailed the religious head and extorted huge money from him. We are investigating the case from all angles,” said City Police Commissioner D. Gautam Sawang.

Mary Matha Church Gunadala, VijayawadaThe involved priest has already been accused of misappropriation of funds etc: However, the church management is inquiring into the behaviour of the religious head and his source of income. It was alleged that a portion of the funds allocated to the shrine and for the poor were misused by him. The City Task Force police collected details of the gang from the priest and rounded up many of the accused. Police are investigating why the religious head was targeted, how he was trapped and the mode of payment made to the extortion gang. Investigation officers are trying to find out whether the pornographic film was original or morphed, if so where the film was shot and the persons involved in the act, including the woman. Police collected the call data of the gangsters and are collecting scientific evidence in the case. The media has been very selective in reporting the facts, as evidently, a Catholic priest has been involved.

Mary Matha Church Gunadala, Vijayawada, where a priest is involved

The Church management is planning to replace the priest after conducting an inquiry: It is said that a follower of the religious head shared sensitive information about the priest, including his financial standing, with the gang which lured him on the pretext of offering a party a few months ago. Later, they started blackmailing him. The role of some media persons came to the fore as they took duplicate copies of the film and collected money from the priest for not telecasting his illegal activities in the news channels. “The extortion gang committed similar offences in other places in the State. We are trying to find out whether the media personnel and advocates whose phone numbers were surfaced in the call data recordings were part of the gang?” an investigation officer told The Hindu . It is learnt that the church management is planning to replace the priest after conducting an inquiry[5]. The heads of the church reportedly sought clarification from the priest on the allegations. However, nothing has been reported the version of the accused priest in the case. In fact, his name itself is not revealed.

Bomga Suresh sexual harassment APJuly 2015 incidence of sexual harassment a girl by three boys in Gunadala: In and around the Mary Matha Church, Gunadala, there have been several incidences of sexual abuses of girls as selectively reported by the media. A minor girl was reportedly subjected to sexual abuse by five youths at Bethleham Colony in Gunadala[6]. The incident came to light on Saturday. Machavaram police took three of the accused into custody, and registered a case under section 376 of the IPC. A 15-year-old girl, resident of Carmel Nagar in Gunadala, went to the Mary Matha Church along with her boyfriend. He and the four other accused are alleged to have drugged her, took her to a room in Bethleham Colony and sexually abused her for two days. Three of the accused finally dropped the girl in a semi-conscious state at her home in Carmel Nagar on July 17.2015. Her mother, employed as a sweeper by the Vijayawada Municipal Corporation (VMC), had by then lodged a complaint with police. She suspected the involvement of the victim’s boyfriend and his associates. The victim is a class VII dropout. Her boyfriend works at a mobile phone repair shop in Gundala. The police took her boyfriend and two of his associates into custody. They are also on the lookout for the others[7].

Bomga Suresh sexual harassment AP.2Bonga Suresh, priest involved in sexual scandal: Bonga Suresh, a pastor of a Church / parish RCM priest in Krishna district continuously harassed a woman sexually. The video gives full details, as to how he has been sexploiting the girls there. Obviously, the young woman had been threatened as it would affect the image of the church and hence she narrated her sexploitation in limited terms, but exposing the pastor. At one stage,, she was even forced to commit suicide. In fact, she informed the Bishop, but, he refused to entertain her plea, obviously for the honour of the church[8]. Though, the Church denomination is not mentioned, the involvement, sexploitation etc., are exposed thoroughly.

Pornography was discussed during the youth Christian convention, October 2015: In the National Youth Conference of the Assemblies of God in Hyderabad during October 23-25, 2012, Duke Jeyaraj talked about perils of pornography and bust the biggest excuse people use to watch porn which is, “I am watching porn to learn sex technique which I will only use inside of marriage.” Other hot topics were covered brilliantly by other experts and I thank God for each one of them[9]. Whether, it was negative suggestion or otherwise, the very discussion would lead to young people differently. Particularly, when the Indian church has been rocked by thousands of sex, rape and sexploitation cases, why such things are encouraged is not known.

The biased, prejudiced and partial reporting of the media: As many happenings have been taking place involving religious heads in different parts of India and such events are reported, commented upon and viewed by the leading TV-channels, media experts and journalists in not only print and electronic media, but also in social network, the bias in their responses is noted very easily. Much hue and cry has been made about the “World Cultural Festival” conducted on the banks of Yamuna from March 11th to 13th 2016. The private visit of temples in Andhra by Nityananda has been sensationalised by the media, meticulously repeating his 2010 incidence and all. But, a Christian priest has been involved, the way the media reports can be noted. In spite of pornography is involved, the media wants to play down and suppress the facts. It is just like the JNU porn CD issue. Here also CDs are in circulation, but, no TV channel broadcast as done in Nityananda case, why? Who imposes such restrictions? Why such partiality comes into play? Is Nityananda been different from Joseph Palanivel Jeyapaul or any other rapist, child rapist or paedophile? When he has been reinstated[10], the same media experts kept silence, they did not respond the way they do in facebook and twitter.

Malda IHC conference, communal fire and blaspheme riots – were they incidental, coincidental or ancillary (4)?

January 14, 2016

Malda IHC conference, communal fire and blaspheme riots – were they incidental, coincidental or ancillary (4)?

Where Heroin is villain-Vast fields of illegal poppy crop at Gopalgunj in West Bengals Malda district

The region is an epicentre of illegal drug trade’: Kaliachak is India’s Afghanistan where poppy farming, weapons smuggling and radicalisation make a lethal cocktail: As Soudhriti Bhabani reports[1], “A vast, green expanse dotted with mosquito net covered plots along the serpentine road near Malda’s Golapganj stands as a forbidden land for the outsider. Narcotics money is at the heart of lawlessness in this West Bengal district bordering Bangladesh. So can anybody deny that such money had not gone into the lavish hospitality extended to the thousands of delegates of IHC assembled there from December 27th to 31st, 2015? The police say a large portion of this drug money goes into buying sophisticated weapons smuggled through the porous Bangladesh border and running hundreds of un-recognised madrassas in the Muslim-dominated (a little over 52 per cent, on last count) district. Why then, IHC had not thought about to pass resolution requesting them to be “nationalists or patriotic”. “It is true that the region is an epicentre of illegal drug trade and a counterfeit currency racket because of its strategic location along the international border,” West Bengal director general of police, Intelligence Branch, Raj Kanojia told Mail Today.  “The district administration is looking into it, especially after the Kaliachak violence. It has taken enough action and now it will get doubled following the police station ransacking incident.”

 Malda Kaliachak polic station

The Kaliachak violence on January 3, 2016 was a pre-planned attack by Muslim groups under the garb of protesting against the hate speech of Kamlesh Tiwari: Local officials say the Kaliachak violence on January 3, was a pre-planned attack by Muslim groups under the garb of protesting against the hate speech of Akhil Bharat Hindu Mahasabha leader Kamlesh Tiwari, thus noted Soudhriti Bhabani. Mamta also says it was between the police and the local people, that is all very simple. Why then, innocent hindus, who are not at all connected with all these crimes, should have been attacked? More than 35 vehicles were torched, government properties ransacked and the Kaliachak police station set on fire. “The entire violence was carried out to terrorise the local administration which is trying to crack down on the poppy empire, take revenge against the police and destroy crucial evidence at the police station,” a police official said, requesting anonymity. Barely 8 km from the border, even children and youngsters collect white latex from the opium poppy (Papaver somniferum) – a mother product for producing heroin. It shows that the involved have been manufacturing drugs and they do not any people to come there to know.

Jan.3 rioters start

IHC historians are more worried about stones going to Ayodhya than the extraction of Opium in Malda: Border areas like Golapganj, Baliadanga, Kaliachak, Mohabbatpur, Mothabari and Danga are now the epicentre of anti-national activities, thanks to the flourishing drug trade. Yet, the IHC historians were worried about the stones going to Ayodhya. Senior officials of the excise department told The Hindu[2] on Wednesday 13-01-2016 that poppy cultivated on nearly 500 acres had been destroyed in Kaliachak and adjoining areas over the past one week. “The drive started on January 5 and till today evening (January 13), 1,500 bighas (495 acres) of poppy cultivation has been destroyed in a joint operation where the police, BSF and excise department are involved,” the official said. As the burnt police stations have been repaired, painted and renovated hurriedly to wipe out all the evidences, perhaps, here, also, all the opium crops were destroyed, there would not be any evidence. Then, Mamta happily declare nothing happened here, it is only the media hype about small skirmishes taken place.

Tiwari protest turned riot

While several theories are floating about the January 3 violence in the Kaliachak area, it is also believed that illegal poppy cultivation could be one of the reasons behind the incident: “We have also registered cases against the owners of the land where it has been cultivated. While several theories are floating about the January 3 violence in the Kaliachak area, it is also believed that illegal poppy cultivation could be one of the reasons behind the incident. Several police vehicles were torched and the local police station was attacked during the violence. So when all these activities have been going on, are the eminent, intelligent and progressive historians fools to pretend and pass resolutions about the stones coming to Ayodhya, instead of worrying about the place, where, they conduct the tamasha for second time?  The 71st session of IHC was also held here in February 2011 instead of December 2010. Thus, in five years, they could not assess what has been going on in Malda? Why not they encourage some crackpots to present papers on Opium manufacture in Malda, Poppy Cultivation in the Northern west Bengal and so on!

Fake currency, arms-smuggling in / through Malda: Other than poppy cultivation, smuggling of fake currency is also a major concern for law enforcement authorities in the district which shares a border with Bangladesh. Fake currency notes amounting to Rs.3.08 crore were seized in the district in 2015 and 105 cases were registered. Also, 187 cases of possessing illegal arms were registered in the district in the same year[3].  Be it peddling of Fake Indian Currency Notes (FICN) involving the local youth, illegal migration, drug and arms supply or smuggling, Malda is a bustling hub. “The place has become a mini Afghanistan. It is a very sensitive matter and the assembly election is knocking on the door. All I can say is that the situation in Kaliachak is really alarming,” said a senior Trinamool Congress leader, requesting anonymity for political reasons. He said recently, a car had been caught in the area packed with cash, but had to be released after officials got a call from somebody influential.” When the eminent historians of IHC knew that the stones were coming to Ayodhya, definitely, they knew that Islamic fundamentalists had also been attending the IHC session there in Malda. As they have been Communist card holders, professed-confessed Marxists and well-known leftists and spreading such ideology in the IHC sessions, they also know very well about the narcotic nexus of their Marxists political masters of Malda and the operators working in the northern parts of West Bengal. Earlier, the courts proved as to how the very same eminent historians deposed as witnesses for the cause of Muslims.  And thus, now, it is interpreted[4] that “Malda Violence is a Result of “An Opium War”, Not communal”!

Kalpataru Day and the Day of riots: So the IHC was concluded on December 30th 2015 and the delegates started moving out of Malda from 30th– 31st night onwards. Some delegates were visiting Dakshineswar Kali Temple, and other places. First January though happened to be Kalpataru Day and the Bengalis fervently pray to Kali for their wishes to be fulfilled, as it was also a Friday for the Muslims to get gathered at mosques. So after Friday prayers, they started their riot. And by January 3rd, it became national news. Thus, none bothered about Kalpataru Day, but talked about Kaliachak and not about Kalighat! As Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa has been secularized by “M” by making him to drink like Christian and eat like Mohammedan etc., Kalpataru Day has been completely secularized. IHC delegates would be only thining about the figure of Romila Thapar instead of Kalimata. She has been the centre of attraction and the youngsters virtually prostrate before her! Perhaps, even AMMA could not get such status!

The Islamic sex-slavery, sensuous-harem and carnal-raping justified even in 21st century (1)!

Girls sold for 2600 dollars by ISIL

Medieval legacy continuing even in 21st century: Indians may or may not be knowing about the women treated by the Khiljis, Lodis, Mughals etc., after capturing Hindu women and keeping them in their harems. They may not know the slave trade, trafficking and kidnapping of women, young girls and children exporting to other countries from Indian ports, however enjoying the “Diaspora” status. Of course, the European Companies, Dutch, Danish, Portuguese, French and British were aiding and abetting the Arab pirates, Turkish buccaneers and Mohammedan brigands, slave agents and trafficking groups. Even though, there are primary documents and books published on such transactions, Muslim experts started countering that there was no such instance of large scale violations. But, now, the activities of IS, ISIS or ISIL have been coming out exposing their medieval brutal, barbaric and atrocious raping of women of all sorts. Their carnal, sensuous and sexy acts have been exceeding he limits either forcing the women committing suicide or get killed by the raping brutes. Now, the “rape laws” have been found to be issued operating their sexual code of conduct of abduction of women, slavery and rape.

ISIL - women slaves treated, sold and sexploited.2Raping of women by brothers systematized under “Rape Laws”: Now, it is reported that the Captured Islamic State (ISIS) documents show that the group has detailed rules and regulation on sex slavery and how its militants are to treat their female slaves[1]. The documents published by Reuters show ISIS regulations on who can have sex with whom and how militants should follow rules of intercourse with women captured by the group. The sexual fatwa papers were reportedly among piles of other documents captured by US Special Forces in Syria in May 2015. “The ruling or fatwa has the force of law and appears to go beyond the Islamic State’s previous known utterances on the subject,” Reuters reported, citing a leading Islamic State scholar. The fatwa shows that ISIS authorities believe their militants have violated the group’s sexual conduct which they claim is in accordance with the Sharia law. One document starts with a question:  “Some of the brothers have committed violations in the matter of the treatment of the female slaves. These violations are not permitted by Sharia law because these rules have not been dealt with in ages. Are there any warnings pertaining to this matter?

ISIL - women slave tradeDos and Donts in raping: In addition to allowing enslavement of women, the group then sets 15 codes to explain in detail the dos and don’ts[2]. For instance, the fatwa forbids sexual intercourse with a woman whose daughter is also enslaved and used as sex slave by the same militant. “If the owner of a female captive, who has a daughter suitable for intercourse, has sexual relations with the latter, he is not permitted to have intercourse with her mother and she is permanently off limits to him. Should he have intercourse with her mother then he is not permitted to have intercourse with her daughter and she is to be off limits to him,” says an excerpt of the ISIS document, as published by Reuters. Hundreds of Yezidi women and young girls were captured by ISIS militants last year when they attacked the town of Shingal and they have been missing ever since[3]. They were reportedly raped by the ISIL terrorists many times and buried after sexploitation leading to sick or “dying condition” either due to excessive sexual acts, group-raping or opt-repeated intercourses or “refusing to accept Islam” even after sexploitation.

Iraqi Izadi girl reveals horrific ordeal as ISIL 'sex slave'

This file photo shows two Izadi refugees in Turkey.

Justified theological raping[4]: In the moments before he raped the 12-year-old girl, the Islamic State fighter took the time to explain that what he was about to do was not a sin. Because the preteen girl practiced a religion other than Islam, the Quran not only gave him the right to rape her — it condoned and encouraged it, he insisted. He bound her hands and gagged her. Then he knelt beside the bed and prostrated himself in prayer before getting on top of her. When it was over, he knelt to pray again, bookending the rape with acts of religious devotion. “I kept telling him it hurts — please stop,” said the girl, whose body is so small an adult could circle her waist with two hands. “He told me that according to Islam he is allowed to rape an unbeliever. He said that by raping me, he is drawing closer to God,” she said in an interview alongside her family in a refugee camp here, to which she escaped after 11 months of captivity. The systematic rape of women and girls from the Yazidi religious minority has become deeply enmeshed in the organization and the radical theology of the Islamic State in the year since the group announced it was reviving slavery as an institution. Interviews with 21 women and girls who recently escaped the Islamic State, as well as an examination of the group’s official communications, illuminate how the practice has been enshrined in the group’s core tenets[5].

Nadia Murad Basee Taha breaks down telling her horror experienceSexually tortured Young Yazdi woman pleaded with UN: A young Yazidi woman pleaded for the United Nations Security Council to wipe out Islamic State after describing the torture and rape she suffered at hands of the militants, who abducted her as “war booty” and held her for three months[6]. “Rape was used to destroy women and girls and to guarantee that these women could never lead a normal life again,” Nadia Murad Basee Taha, 21, told the 15-member council’s first meeting on human trafficking. “Islamic State has made Yazidi women into flesh to be trafficked in,” she said of the extremist group that has seized swaths of territory in Iraq and Syria. Taha said she was abducted in August last year 2014 from her village in Iraq and taken by bus to a building in the Islamic State stronghold of Mosul, where thousands of Yazidi women and children were exchanged by militants as gifts. A few days after she was taken by a man, she said: “He forced me to get dressed and put my makeup on and then that terrible night, he did it. He forced me to serve as part of his military faction, he humiliated me every day.” She tried to flee, but was stopped by a guard. Taha, who said several of her brothers were killed by Islamic State militants, eventually escaped and is now living in Germany.

ISIL - women child traffickingUN, International Criminal Court and Shariat court: Visibly emotional after telling her story, the members of the UN Security Council applauded her courage. The United Nations has said that Islamic State may have committed genocide in trying to wipe out the Yazidi minority and has urged the UN Security Council to refer the issue to the International Criminal Court for prosecution. The council said in a statement that it deplored people trafficking by Islamic State and other groups such as the Lord’s Resistance Army and Boko Haram. It warned that “certain acts associated with trafficking in persons in the context of armed conflict may constitute war crimes.” But, actually, what they are going to do is a question. UN has never declared war against terror or formed any task or Special Forces to attack terrorists. Just like a Government agencies, condemning, deploring the terror acts or advising to take the issue to International Criminal Court etc., appear to be of more routine nature than taking action.

Murad Basee TahaMurad Basee Taha (21) explained how she was tortured: Full text of Nadia’s speech[7]: In her speech Nadia Murad Basee Taha stated that “We, the women and children were brought by bus to another region. Along the way, they humiliated us. They touched us and violated us. They took us to Mosul with more than 150 other Yazidi families. In a building, there were thousands of Yazidi families and children who were exchanged as gifts. One of these people came up to me. He wanted to take me. I looked down at the floor. I was absolutely petrified. When I looked up, I saw a huge man. He looked like a monster. She further added, trying to hold back tears and keep her nerve “I cried. I cried out, I said ‘I’m too young and you’re huge.’ He hit me. He kicked me and beat me. And a few minutes later, another man came up to me. I still was looking at the floor. I saw that he was a little bit smaller. I begged him. I implored him for him to take me. I was incredibly scared of the first man. The man who took me asked me to change religion. I refused. Then, he asked my hand in marriage, so to speak.” Struggling to relive the experience she recalled the situation of the women around her, noting that “I said that I was ill because most women were menstruating because they were scared. A few days later, he forced me to get dressed and put makeup on and then that terrible night, he did it. He forced me to serve as part as his military faction. He humiliated me every day. He forced me to wear clothes that didn’t cover my body. I was tortured. I tried to flee but one of the guards stopped me. That night, he beat me. He asked me to take my clothes off. He put me in a room with the guards, then they proceeded to commit their crime until I fainted.” She finally expressed bravely ending her story “Three months after my abduction, I was finally able to escape. I’m currently living in Germany.” The Yazdi women have been sexploited, sold as slaves in the market and even killed and buried. Mass graves of women have been found in the areas, where ISIL carried on such operations.

The 10th National Conference of ABISY was held at Mysore from December 24th to 26th 2015 on “Women in Indian culture: From ancient to Modern” (2).

December 29, 2015

The 10th National Conference of ABISY was held at Mysore from December 24th to 26th 2015 on “Women in Indian culture: From ancient to Modern” (2).

1.Shri-Vajubhai-Rudabhai-Vala-Governor-of-Karnataka-inaugurated10th-National-Conference-on-Woman-in-Indian-Culture-through-the-Ages12.18 am (24-12-2015) Senate Hall, Mysuru: M. A. Jayashree sang an inagural song, read “Sankalpa” for the Conference and then, all stood up to sing Janaganamana!

The governors and VIPs arrived and the inagural ritual started.

Those who were on the Dias:

  1. Balamukund.
  2. Prof K. S. Rangappa, VC, University of Mysuru was the Chief Gust of Honour
  3. HE Vajubhai Vala Karnataka
  4. HE Mridula Sihna Goa
  5. Sri Suresh Joshi Bhayyaji, Sarkaryavah, RSS was the guest speaker.
  6. Satish Mittal.
  7. Tontadarya, ex-MLC

ABISY - inagural function Suresh Joshi Bhayyaji, Sarkaryavah, RSS was the guest speakerThe speech of Suresh Bhaiyyaji Joshi: 12.25 pm: The 10th national conference of the Akhil Bharatiya Itihasa Sankalana Yojana began here on Thursday with RSS general secretary Suresh Bhaiyyaji Joshi finding fault with the tradition of confining women to household work[1]. Talking in Hindi, he said, family system was the root of the country, that should be protected by ensuring education, health and safety of womenfolk. Delineating on the need to set right the history of the country, Joshi said, the samiti has taken up many works to introduce the core strength of the country to the people. “While Aryans were indigenous people of India, Britishers falsely propagated that they came from outside. The truth was established after researching deep into the issue. The origin of Sindhu-Saraswati River has been traced”, added Joshi[2]. Addressing the gathering at the inaugural of the conference titled ‘Woman in Indian culture through the ages’ by the yojana, Mr. Joshi said there was a need for women to emerge from the confines of their homes and assume roles in industry, education, politics and other spheres of life. If a country were to achieve progress economically, socially and geographically, there was a need to empower women, he said emphasising the importance of creating awareness on the issue. He also said women should populate not only the army, but also the air force and navy. While favouring bringing Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and various adivasis into the mainstream, who he said “may be weak, but not unwise”, Mr. Joshi said that issues relating to rural and tribal women, who comprise 70 per cent of women, should be brought on the agenda of the discussions. He called for the need to establish a just society on the basis of equality that is free from western influence. Mr. Joshi emphasised the need to present correct history. Research helped bust the myth that Aryans had invaded India before the Mughals and the British. That Aryans were not foreigners, but were locals, had been proved by scientific evidence, he claimed[3].

Goa Governor Mridula Sinha speaking at the ABISYs 10th national conference in Mysuru on Thursday 24-12-2015-PHOTO- M.A. SRIRAMWhat HE Mridula Sihna Goa spoke: 12.50 to 1.15 pm: HE Mridula Sihna Goa spoke in Hindi. Referring to the practice among a section of the women to avoid bearing children, Goa Governor Mridula Sinha described motherhood as nature’s best gift to a woman[4]. Speaking after inaugurating the national conference organised by the Akhila Bharatiya Itihasa Sankalana Yojana here on Thursday, Ms. Sinha said that she still advises her daughter against forgetting to serve her husband his food even if she does not have the time to cook[5]. “But, never should a woman go hungry,” she said. Also, she went on to say that it was important for men to discuss women’s issues[6]…………the three-day meet should discuss the relevance of nature, culture and decency as they are inter-connected with each other. While nature remains intact after being created, the Indian culture is largely dependent on the nature.Describing motherhood as god’s gift to womenfolk, Sinha regretted that new-age women were avoiding motherhood, that was once protected and preserved, equally contributing to the welfare of the society[7].

6.Shri-Vajubhai-Rudabhai-Vala-Governor-of-Karnataka-inaugurated10th-National-Conference-on-Woman-in-Indian-Culture-through-the-AgesHE Vajubhai Vala spoken on the conference: 1.16 to 1.23 pm: HE Vajubhai Vala Karnataka spoke in Hindi. Governor Vajubhai Vala, who presided over the event, said that women, who play a strong role inside their houses, should display their strength even outside. Though he regretted the delay in the passage of the Women’s Reservation Bill that seeks to set aside 33 per cent of the seats in Parliament and State Assemblies, Mr. Vala said that many women are now occupying powerful posts in the bureaucracy. ….Women nowadays have taken a lead in many fields, with 70 per cent women bagging top honours on the academic front[8]. Most importantly, it’s women who inculcate culture among children. Be it any women, men should ensure their safety and security[9].On the role of women in politics, Vala said, there are examples of women leaders occupying top posts like president and prime minister in India, while in western countries it is more common to see women leaders occupying key positions. Thus, the entire inagural session was carried on in Hindi. After lunch, the paper-reading session started in different rooms of the building situated next to library. The Kannda and Sanskrit sessions were arranged seperately, whereas, the Hindi and English papers were mixed together and the paper-presenters, particularly, those who presented in English could find difficult, as their papers were interpersed between many Hindi papers.

3.Shri-Vajubhai-Rudabhai-Vala-Governor-of-Karnataka-inaugurated10th-National-Conference-on-Woman-in-Indian-Culture-through-the-Ages25-12-2015 (Friday): Paper reading session. Most of the papers were in Hindi and the delegates who did not know Hindi could not understand what was presented. They felt they missed important information, data and information that might have been contained in such presentation. And many papers were in the form of “articles” and not of the nature of “reseach paper”. The emphasis made the title and the sub-themes made the presenters to repeat, duplicate and even rehash the same points, aspects and subject matter. Of course, the “cut and paste” methodology was also noted and pointed out by the organizers themselves.

2.30 to 4.40 pm: General Body Meeting of ABISY.

5.00 to 7.40 pm: Visit to Mysuru palace lightning.

ABISY 10th National Conference inagurated by Mysuru-Goa Governors-Deccan Herald26-12-2015 (Saturday): Paper reading session continued with the same conditions pointed out above. Had the papers been scrutinized properly, such things could not have been occurred. The corrections, modifications and rewriting could have been intimated so that the quality of paper presentation could have been maintained. Such exercise would be useful and educative for budding researchers in paper preparation and presentation. Women paper presenters had not addressed the issues, problems faced by the Indian women. Some women appeared to have felt that “they are happy” and therefore, other “women are also happy”.  Most of the woman paper presenters had not been aware of the current issues dealt with in India in different spheres and thus, papers had been of “glorification of the past” nature. Even in the globalization context also, though only few papers were presented, they had been in a dilemma as to whether to point out the positive aspects or the negative aspects that affect the Indian society.

ABISY - paper presentation, discussion going onWhy papers deviated much away from the theme taken for the conference: The hospitality had been excellent, but, unfortunately, the academic proceedings had been marred by some inherent factors. The subject matter of the whole proceedings was to concentrate on women-issues focussing on the current relating to ancient moral values. The first circular declared that the central subject proposed was “Women in Indian culture: From ancient to present” adding that research papers were also invited on the following topics such as –

  1. Historiography
  2. History in the Puranas
  3. Vaavasi (Tribal) history
  4. District history
  5. Miscellaneous (Archaeology, inscriptions, numismatics, art and architectue, spread of Indian culture abroad etc)

But, the Second circular still enlarged the topics deviating from the women and women-issues givilng the list as follows:

  1. Origin of Indian culture and women
  2. Women in Saraswati-Sidhu civilization.
  3. Women in epic-age
  4. Women in Puranas
  5. Women in Jaina-Buddhist period.
  6. Women in Mauryan and post-Mauryan period.
  7. Women in Gupta and post-Gupta period
  8. Women depicted in indian art / performing art, paintings, wooden, terracota, stone and metallic art / folklore, music, dance etc.
  9. Women in folk tradition and culture
  10. Women in medieval age.
  11. Role of women in freedom struggle
  12. Globalization and Indian women

Other general topics are also as follow:

  1. Historiography
  2. History in the Puranas
  3. Vaavasi (Tribal) history
  4. Regional history

Other Academic subjects:

Archaeology, Epigraphy, numismatics, art and architectue, Indian culture.

The final circular dated 16-10-2015 repeated the above. Thus, the circulars deviated from the theme of the conference, with the diverged subjects and digressing from the idea of the subject matter conceived. Accordingly, the paper-presenters, particularly, the majority of the casual-types had taken full liberty to take any subject and came with “hurried-haste-rehassed” stuff that was criticized by the organizers and the sectional presidents. As they seperated Sanskrit and Kannda paper presentation, Hindi paper presentation or the English paper presentation could have been held seperately. As most of the paper presenters did not follow any “style-sheet” and research methodology, they can be taught about. Incidentally, as ABISY and BISSs have been working on “history writing and re-writing”, they should conduct some workshop for their “paper-presenters” as to how to prepare a reasearch paper. They should be asked to attend IHC, SIHC etc., to listen to historians, interact with others and get experience.

Valedictory function: The valedictory funstion was held at the A.V. Hall without any lack lusture and the same speakers again dwelt upon the same issues in the same manner. Again, the entire ritual was in Hindi. Instead of getting opinion from the delegates about the academic conduct of the conference, it was wound up in a much routine manner. When a particular person was speaking “over-enthusiastically”, the audience started clapping several times. Instead of getting the hint, he continued to talk with spirit provoking them to clap again. There was no indication as to when the 11th National Conference would be held after three years in 2018.

ABISY – Centenary Celebration Committee of University of Mysore

Centenary Celebration Committee of University of Mysore[4]: For this, K.S Rangappa VC had appointed a centenary celebration committee. The committee consists of MPs, the former Prime Minister H.D Deve Gowda, former vice chancellors, litterateurs and other distinguished scientists[5]. After rigorous discussion the committee has come up with some projects with members of all shades of political and economic interests[6]. About the request of Rs.100 crores for the celebration and allocation of Rs.50 crires, “The Hindu” reported characteristically[7]. Even as the University of Mysore was getting ready to host its centenary celebration, the government, in a goodwill gesture, announced a grant of Rs. 50 crore for the historic fete which began on July 27, 2015, the day the university was established in 1916. The university had sought Rs. 100 crore from the government for the centenary fete. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, however, doled out Rs. 50 crore in the State Budget presented by him[8]. Expressing gratitude towards the government’s gesture, VC K.S. Rangappa said, “I thank the government for its benevolence. Actually, we had sought Rs. 100 crore from it for realising certain projects. But we are happy with the allocation.” A website was created and brochure issued[9]. Thus, among the other projects and programmes, the hosting of the Conference was included in the agenda by the Committee.

Inagural session (24-12-2015): The inaguration was held at the “Senate Hall” and there was secuirity checking, as two State Governors Karnataka HE Vajubhai Vala and Goa HE Mridula Sihna were participating. The delegates were taken to the venue from the Hostels by buses and the hall was full within half-an-hour. Sri Suresh Joshi Bhayyaji, Sarkaryavah, RSS was the guest speaker. Prof K. S. Rangappa, VC, University of Mysuru was the Chief Gust of Honour. They were waiting for the arrival of the Governors. On the stage nothing was there and the backdrop was just started putting up. The chairs were brought one by one and arranged on the stage. Three framed pictures were brought and placed on the chairs, but, they were not fittimg into, so two were removed and only one – that of Bharat Mata was accommodated in a chair. As mentioned, the programme was not started by 9.15, but by 10.15 am in a different way. The Zonal incharges of Bharatiya Itihasa Sankalana Samiti (hereinafter mentioned as BISS) were called.

ABISY - Senate hall entrance - Inagural function - secuirity check

Historians honoured by the organizedrs: 10.24 am: The programme was started. Each zonal incharge was asked to announce the historian selected. Thus, the following announced their respective historian as mentioned against each:

  1. Kataraia, Udaipur…………by……….
  2. Sher Singh announced………….
  3. Dilip Kumar Bhukkan announced for Assam by…………
  4. Anand Sharma (Uttaranchal)…………
  5. Rahman Ali, Ujjain was selected by………….
  6. Seernivasa Rao announced Prof A. Sundara.
  7. Anuradha (Telingana) announced Y. Sudhrshana Rao[10].

It was surprising that for the States, Seemanthra, Tamilnadu and Kerala, no historian of worth could be recognized and announced by them for honouring. It is clear that either the orgnizers or the Zonal incharge could have been so ignorant about their respective regions / States to select and nominate the historians or they did not want take such decision judiciously considering the facts. Ironically, the BISS, Tamilnadu shows many popular historians in their organization – Dr K. V. Raman, Dr R. Nagaswamy, Dr Rama Bai, Prof Dr K. M. Rao, Dr S. Kalyanaraman and others, yet the Zonal incharge could not think of anybody snd nominate nobody! Of course, there have been many-more in those states. When all were happening, many came (some important persons, scholars and elderly people) and returned, as none could recognize them or made them to seat! For instance, Tumkur University VC came and kept waiting and standing, for some time and he was not cared by anybody. Perhaps, the hall received more members to be acommodated than available seating arrangement!

Dr S Kalyana Raman lecture at IGNCA Bangalore Dec.23, 2001

Dr S Kalyana Raman lecture at IGNCA Bangalore Dec.23, 2001 – generally, he used to present on “Saraswati” related topics.

A presentation on “Sarasawati River Civilization”: 10.36 am: Inagural song was sung.

10.40 am: Welcoming the delegates, the person concluded with “Jai Hind, Jai Karnataka”!

11.01 am: Prashant Bharadwaj, Haryana Water Board, started explaining about the “Sarasawati River Civilization” with some slides, which were not at all attractive. Moreover, he was explaing in Hindi and thus evidently noot understood by the delegates coming from different states other than the Hindi speaking ones. It has to be mentioned that earlier Dr S. Kalyanaraman used to give presentation on “Sarasawati River Civilization” with many slides and lot of information, as he has been working on the subject and written many books[11].  He has published many books on the Sindhu-Saraswati civilization. Now, why he was not there was intriguing, as obviously, his absence was reveleaed through some slides used as noted.  However, it was learnt later that he had sent a PPT with many slides for presentation, but ignored by the organizers. About the differing views on “Saraswati” river, a comprehensive note can be seen here[12].

11.20 to 11.35 am: On RHS of the auditorioum, thee was commotion, as the seats meant for the press people were occupied by the delegates. So when chairs were put before the front road, the police objected to it on secuirity reasons.  The shouting stopped and they were made to settle down.

11.35 am: There were patriotic songs sung by different people. All these attempts were evidently meant for adjusting the delay caused for the arrival of the Governors.

“Happy to bleed” campaign, Nikita Azad and Vedaprakash – four days correspondence!

November 30, 2015

“Happy to bleed” campaign, Nikita Azad and Vedaprakash – four days correspondence!

Happy to bleed - campaign against sabarimalai entry deenial to women

On November 24, 2015, I came across one “Happy to bleed” campaign started by one Nikita Azad in the Facebook.

So I have gone through their column, read all the postings, comments and responses, I posted my first comment briefly as follows:

I have carefully gone through the thread.

As usual, the comments have been drifting to different directions with the intruding varied opinion.

The prohibition of menstruating women to enter religious places, participate in Eucharist and rituals etc., has been there throughout the world among the

Jews, Christians, Muslims, Hindus and others, even today.

Therefore, hope you bleed more happily and reasonably with secularism.

Very often the so-called, modern, western, progressive, broad-minded, forward-looking, feminist, and other varieties of ideologists attack Hindu religion, beliefs, etc., under the guise of attacking certain practices, where, ironically, many non-Hindus participate happily. So I started responding and replying many, where, certain specific points were raised. They again and again stressed their point of “right to bleed” etc., with photos of girls holding sanitary napkins in their hands, menstrual blood soaking their jeans, holding menstrual blood in tubes, such blood falling on fingers…….with different comments!

Meena Kandasamy - God do not look between my legs okay

“GOD DO NOT LOOK BETWEEN MY LEGS OKAY” have been the words of one “Meena Kandasamy”!

Happy to bleed - campaign - come and see the blood on my skirt

“Come and see blood on my skirt”, a red banner held by two girls and some girls standing around on the road!

Happy to bleed - campaign - priyanka Sharma and Aina Singh

Are your God would be seduced by women, if they enter?

What would happen if a woman enters with a pad?

Travelling Ayyappa baktas not behaving properly with women.

Janaki Venket How many of the men going to sabarimala actually follow the rules. I have seen many flaunting it! Travelled in a train once with a bunch of these men in black dress ogling at the ladies, passing comments & drinking in the night!

 ………………

I pointed out the propaganda of Muslims there proclaiming that Islam treats women ….gives rights and so on. When pointed out, in the context of menstruation, Islam does not allow women inside mosques, then, some accepted and retracted. Nikita also accepted mentioning my name and declared that they also against Islam, as they are involved in genital mutilation etc.

Happy to bleed campaigners - Sukhjeet Singh and Aman Jalwehra Singh

Two Sikhs holding placards also supported. I asked, “Tell me honestly, whether menstruating women are allowed in the Harmandarsahib”, they did not reply, but, some women responded, and clarified that the point is not that menstruating women are allowed inside mosques of Gurudwaras, but the entry of such women inside temples! So in India, though, women talk about the rights of women etc., they worry about Hindu women only in this way and they do not bother about non-Hindu women like Muslims, Christians, Sikhs etc.!

Happy to bleed campaign - photo

However, she could relish with my responses and answers and therefore, come out as follows:

Friends, this is an IMPORTANT statement.

Many people are continuously trying to defame the campaign by irresponsibly raising religious quarrels, even after we have repeatedly clarified that we oppose all religions, and practices that discriminate on gender grounds. When we openly posted that we are against Muslim communities that practice female genital mutilation, and do not let men and women pray together, the Brahaminical fundamentalists chose another method of maligning the campaign. They started using patriarchal words like ‘decency’ ‘decorum’ etc and even said that ‘have your mothers seen these posts’, which actually clarifies that their agenda is not to have any positive discussion, but defame the campaign. These fanatics simply cannot accept that women have spoken up in whatever manner they find correct. They wish to dictate in the manner of protest also.

Also, these indiviuals have gone to the extreme, and called our activists as prostitutes, that we should be gang raped, that’s what we are good for, and must remain in kitchens.

With only one day left for the social media campaign, we reject such irresponsible criticism, and urge everybody to share this message widely. Because till now we have launched a social media campaign only, and we are gifted with threats like stated, who knows what will happen when we take ground campaign.

BUT AT THE SAME TIME, I APPEAL TO ALL OUR SUPPORTERS NOT TO USE ANY OFFENSIVE WORD AGAINST THE TEMPLE OR AUTHORITIES, RATHER GIVE THEM IDEOLOGICAL FIGHT WITH YOUR ARGUMENTS. That will actually improve the campaign

Happy to bleed campaign - Nikita Azad accepts that now Islam also does not allow menstruating women inside mosques

Though, many things were not related to me, I responded point by point as follows:

As I have already mentioned that I have been reading your campaign column and responding not only to you, but also other campaigners. Through this comments, as you have unnecessarily have indulged in slandering me, through your remarks, “the Brahaminical fundamentalists chose another method of maligning the campaign. They started using patriarchal words like ‘decency’ ‘decorum’ etc and even said that ‘have your mothers seen these posts’”, I have to point out the following facts:

1.       The so-called “religious quarrels” have been going on in your campaign carried on by your Christian and Muslim friends, as could be noted from their accusing one particular religion, while appreciating their religious “goodness” and all (in fact, they are false, untruth and myth).

2.      we have repeatedly clarified that we oppose all religions, and practices that discriminate on gender grounds, bogey has come out now, obviously, as I started responding to those campaigners and you have also realized mentioning my name specifically in your reply. Ironically, now you want to “bleed with secularism”!

3.      which actually clarifies that their agenda is not to have any positive discussion, but defame the campaign – As you, including all your campaigners, have indulged in such denigrating, disparaging with indecent depiction, portrayal of women etc., your are now trying to defend yourself, by saying all these things.

4.      any positive discussion – Perhaps, it is me who initiated positive discussion and that is why you have realized your mistake of attacking “one particular religion” and started, “we also condemn muslims……………………….” and so on. You also referred to my name in one discussion about “menstruating women entering mosques……………”

5.      These fanatics simply cannot accept that women have spoken up in whatever manner they find correct – what is this? What right you have to call me “brahmanical fundamentalist”, “fanatics” etc?

a.      What is your agenda?

b.      If you do not have guts to respond the points raised me, accept your inefficiency or yur ignorance about the subject matter discussed.

c.       Do not indulge in this type of attack.

d.      In fact, you get exposed yourself, the language you have been using.

6.      started using patriarchal words like ‘decency’ ‘decorum’ etc – Yes, I recorded as follows:

“I am 65, with much anxiety only I have been responding to you and your friends of this campaigning.

You could note that I have been pointing the facts about ‘menstruating women entering the places of worship’.

But you have decided to attack only Sabarimalai movement.

Moreover, when the reporters ask such mischievous questions as to how you check the women entering, only he responded.

Perhaps, you might have known about the case of Jaymala actress who entered the temple.

Today, internet is viewed by children, boys and girls therefore, definitely, some amount of decency and decorum is required in depicting pictorially or otherwise.

7.      Though the other comments are not directed against me, Also, these indiviuals have gone to the extreme, and called our activists as prostitutes, that we should be gang raped, that’s what we are good for, and must remain in kitchens”…………., etc, I want to point out, that Newtons’s third law only worked here! To cite one example, that photo “GOD DO NOT LOOK BETWEEN MY LEGS OKAY”

8.     I APPEAL TO ALL OUR SUPPORTERS NOT TO USE ANY OFFENSIVE WORD AGAINST THE TEMPLE OR AUTHORITIES, RATHER GIVE THEM IDEOLOGICAL FIGHT WITH YOUR ARGUMENTS – so now, you say this! But your entire campaign has been against the temple, temple authorities, customs and practices, beliefs etc. So now you are afraid of some legal action for your defaming, disparaging, denigrating……………..campaign?

9.      Oh campaigners, be calm, relaxed and thing about everything.  I hope most of you are young girls and women studying in schools and colleges with a lot of hopes and ambitions in your minds. So concentrate in your studies, instead of indulging in such campaigns, as such acts would make you imbibed wih ideology, as prompted by Nikita Azad – RATHER GIVE THEM IDEOLOGICAL FIGHT WITH YOUR ARGUMENTS. That will actually improve the campaign.

10.  So, now only after all drum-beating, she has realized that, “That will actually improve the campaign.” Great on Friday, that is the last day of your campaign.

I wish MOTHER GODDESS would bless all of you with all prosperity and good future!

For this, she could not respond, but, banned me from participating in the campaign expressing views, questioning their way and methodology of the campaign. So, this has become my last response.

Ironically, they talk about rights of freedom of thinking, expression, speech and so on, but when others come to think, express or talk, they ban!

What type of attitude is this?

Is this, the way of having dialogue or group discussion?

Is this the mode of exhibiting their tolerance?

I understand that she has extended the campaign till December 4, 2015!

The sixth international Vedic workshop [hereinafter mentioned as SIVW for brevity] was held in Kozhiokode from January 7 to 10 2014 and there have been a lot of publicity in the Indian media and internet by the interested and involved carried on. Ironically, in facebook[1], twitter[2] and blogs[3] also there have been entries, but when I asked for or tried to get more details they could not give. Incidentally, there has been some opposition to the workshop, as I could note from the internet search[4]. As I could not attend it, because of the clashing of dates with the international conference on Mahabharata [mentioned as ICMB] in Tirupati from 7th to 11th 2014. In fact, I was eager to note how the non-Indians could have acted and interacted in the proceedings of the Vedic workshop. So I just started enquiring and gathering details about it. During the ICMB itself, I was discussing about SIVW with the hundreds of Sanskrit Pundits, professors and scholars came there to present papers. Particularly, I interacted with the research students from Rastriya Sanskrit Vidhyapeeth, Tirupati who registered with the ICMB more than 170. Very few knew about it, but they did not want to attend for many reasons. When enquired, they gave the following:

  1. The delegate fees was very high, perhaps half of the salary they receive in teaching Sanskrit in schools and other places.
  2. They cannot get leave, as they have already in their jobs.
  3. Even if they forego salary cut etc., their Masters / Gurus / Employers did not encourage.
  4. They are not familiar with the Vedic studies, as they have chosen different topics for their M.Phil, Ph.D research and dissertation.

Of 100, only few – two   from Chennai, one from AP and another from Pondicherry know him[5]. Ironically none of the Sanskrit Pundits, scholars and professors responded that they do not know him even after showing his photograph!

Non-Indian or Foreign domination in the 6th Vedic Workshop conducted in India: This observation is made for the purpose of Vedas, Vedic studies and Vedic research carried on in India and outside. When Max Mueller translated Vedas without seeing or coning to India, and other translators also did, reservations were expressed about their quality of translations. In spite of such doubts expressed and mistakes pointed out, their printed books were, are and being printed, sold and filled in the libraries of Universities, colleges and even in Sanskrit schools. When critical editions have been published for Ramayana and Mahabharata, none has done for Vedas. About the dates of Vedas also none has fixed conclusively, yet different dates are followed for research and historical purposes. Under such circumstances only, this aspects is noted and discussed. The Doctors / Professors who chaired the sessions have been as follows as per their programme:

Of the 18, only 6 have been Indians, i.e, 33% and 67% been non-Indians. So, in India, I have to take that even in subjects on Vedas, 2/3rds scholars had to be from outside India and dominate the show. However, the chantings, rites, rituals, rites etc., have to be done by Indians and the non-Indians would go on photographing, videographing, commenting, criticizing and even recommending that such and such rituals should have been performed like this and not like that.

Demonstration of Veda chanting in progress at 6th international workshop on the Vedas at Iringal Artand Crafts Village, Vadakara, on Wednesday 08-01-2014 (Coutesy – The Hindu)

Experimental “Yagnas” conducted for research: In fact, traditional Vedic scholars say that chantings, rites, rituals, rites etc., can be performed only for the purpose and not for demonstration, fun or observation, as being done in laboratories. No doubt, scholars like Frits Staal could have recorded “The Vedic Ritual of the Fire Altar”. Yagnas are conducted in different parts of India, even in homes depening upon the exigencies, but they are not publicized. Nowdays, just for publicity, some sort of “Yagnas for Peace” are conducted. In Kerala, the conduct of different Yagnas have been reported and attracted by the foreigners. At every time, the “sacrifice of animal” had become a controversial issue[6]. Doing Yoga by persons and getting benefits is different from doing Yoga by somebody and that is watched by others either directly or through film or on TV. Such seeing cannot bring any benefit. Here, in the case of “Conduct of Yagnas” for experimental purposes and shooting them, carrying to aboard and screen them as proof, this is the way Yagnas are conducted in India or were conducted 5000 years ago.

map-Simplified plan of the sacrificial area.with abbre.details

map-Simplified plan of the sacrificial area.with abbre.details

Reenacted, demonstrated and imitated Vedic representations could be taken as original, authentic and accurate: Here, in 6th Vedic workshop, Brahmins were asked to chant Vedas and recorded by the foreign researchers. Ironically, the Brahmins were questioned by Brahmins only or act as interpreters, while the foreign delegates were watching, photographing, and videographing. When mantras are meant for chanting at a particular time, place and purpose and they are done for the purpose demonstration, exhibition and display, how the real effect could be produced is not known. In Tamilnadu, the DK-fellows were imitating some of the rituals to show that they could also do without believing God, religion etc. Later, under the guise of Rationalist Society etc., some people started doing such rites. Thus, now for the purpose of International Workshop, such reenactments are carried on. Therefore, the reality is not there, but only, some sort of dramatic performance is taken as real.

Vedic chanting at odd hours: Nowadays, Yoga has become some sort of international business. Even non-Hindus started claiming that it is not Hindu. Thus, we have many Yoga-experts, teachers and gurus of US, Europe and even Arabia. The poor Christian and Muslim authorities many times have to take contradicting stands about their respective believing clergy turning into heathen or kafiri mode. Of course, in Tamilnadu, ot the land of “Dravidas/Dravidians”, Karunanidhi has already accepted and started doing Yoga, that too, from a “Aryan” master! So here also, Vedic job-workers have started doing their work on request or contract basis. Amazing and wonderful programme has been chalked out to accommodate them to chant according their tune.

For example, there were programs like this[7]:

Sl.No

Time

Program

4 08.45 – 09.1508-01-2014 Assembling in the Veda chanting hall
5 09.15 – 10.15 Rgveda chanting session – Kerala tradition
8 11.30 – 12.30 Sāmaveda chanting session – Kerala tradition
9 12.30 – 01.30 Yajurveda chanting session – Kerala tradition
11 02.30 – 03.00 Sāmaveda chanting session – Tamil tradition in Kerala
22 03.45 – 04.1509-01-2014 Akshara Sloka demonstration (only Sanskrit and Manipravaala slokas)

How these chanting would demonstrate the reality of chanting, the chanters and the listened within half-an-hour before lunch, after lunch and at odd hours.

(To be concluded)

Marring Metallica, diehard fans, poor Indians, running riot and fooling India!

October 30, 2011

Marring Metallica, diehard fans, poor Indians, running riot and fooling India!

Government money spent for the bash? The Headlines-today reporter was describing that the event was great to have very huge crowd, as if she does not see huge gatherings of public in India. Lakhs / millions of Indians used to gather without any secuirity, arrangement etc., during periodical / seasonal festivals, Gumbha-melas etc., but the gathered crown would be disciplined. However, here the elite, educated and westernized people come, and it is surprising that three-layered barricades are required for them!  The Police Commissioner was so enthusiastic, as he has provided strong barricade to stop the crowd if they try to run riot. Why should government should for some 10,000 to 15,000 rich people to enjoy their own of choice of music, which may not be liked by cbillions of Indians. Then how they could spend the exchequer money for this type of “tamasha”. The foreign media[1] has started spreading stories that the Indian fans rum amuck, damaged stage, and so on.

Money is not an issue / problem for Metallica diehard fans[2]: And for these fans money is the last thing on their minds. “I’ll be spending something more than `15,000 for the concert and flight tickets. The only monetary saving grace is that I’ll be staying at a friend’s place in Bangalore.” Adds Craig Quadros, 23, accounts manager, “I’ve already spent around six grand on two concert tickets, and with travelling and lodging, it will easily be around `20,000. But, it’s Metallica – a band that I’ve been a fan of since I was 12, so it’s all cool.”  For some, a few thousands don’t matter. “This will be larger-than-life so I have no qualms spending some money to watch them play,” says 39-year-old Vikram Varma, who is shelling out `50,000-60,000 for tickets, lodging, flight tickets and bus tickets. “It isn’t everyday that Metallica comes to India, so when they do, you should definitely catch them in action.” And while some are spending hard cash, there are some who are trying to make big bucks from the Metallica frenzy that has gripped fans.

Tickets sold in black: Either the so-called fans must have been very rich or they get money just like tha to spend. Why then they blame Indians for being poor? Tickets for the Gurgaon concert on October 28 are being sold in black for a whopping `8000, though they’re still available on the ticketing website. Says 23-year-old Anup Jain, “A friend got in touch with me asking if I wanted to buy a ticket for `8000 in black since they were sold-out. I heard the amount and I ran! Thankfully, I found out that they’re still available online.” That means, there has been another type of gambling going on.

The organizers arrested for breach of trust and cheating: The national capital has missed its date with Metallica, as the organisers finally announced that the Thrash Metal band’s concert that was postponed for a day would not happen at all. This led to the arrest of four officials of DNA Networks on charges of cheating[3].

  1. Rajesh – general manager of DNA Networks,
  2. Umesh
  3. Ashok Singh
  4. Savio Faleio

Rajesh, was arrested along with team members —Umesh, Ashok Singh and Savio Faleio. The four were presented at the district court, which remanded them in custody for five days[4]. The administration has also seized the Rs 1 crore security money deposited by the firm[5]. “We will interrogate them on what led to the cancellation of the show. We were not informed before the cancellation of the show and we received complaints from the people about it,” SS Deswal, commissioner of police-Gurgaon, said. The four officials have been arrested under section 406 (breach of trust) and 420 (cheating) of the Indian Penal Code.

Without permission tickets sold, crowd gathered: There was still confusion regarding the return of money to the people and fans will have to wait for the advertisement to know the procedure. “I want my full money back. When the Bryan Adams show was cancelled in February, the organizers had deducted Rs 200 as service tax. Why should we pay anything as service tax when no show happened?” said exasperated Rajesh who had bought a ticket for Rs 1,650. Metallica on its official website mentioned the reason of cancellation of the concert as fans’ security. “Immediately at the end of our afternoon press conference, we were notified that there was a serious question as to whether the show could proceed with regard to the safety of the concert audience. And our first and foremost concern is always for the safety of you, the fans,” read the statement on Metallica’s website. The band will perform in Bangalore on Sunday.

The decent rogues run riot: It wasn’t quite “Kill ‘Em All,” but when Metallica and a concert promoter postponed the metal band’s first concert ever in India, angry fans reacted with a “Seek and Destroy” mentality. They rioted, trashed instruments even tore apart parts of the stage, according to The Huffington Post. The promoter, DNA Entertainment Network, reportedly announced right before the gig was supposed to start at Leisure Valley Park in the city of Guragon that they would have to postpone it for a day due to a problem with security measures at the venue. But some 25,000 fans had already pushed their way into the concert, and their angry reaction delivered the kind of carnage that one might expect from a crowd that loves bludgeoning music with punishing volume levels and lyrics about rage. Fans set banners on fire and trashed instruments on the stage, according to HuffPo. Videos like the one below have already surfaced online showing fans swarming the stage and throwing items into the crowd and at security members. But Hold your horses Napster-lovers, this can’t all be blamed on Lars Ulrich. NDTV reports that four people, including a senior executive from DNA Entertainment Network, have been arrested in the wake of the debacle and charged with cheating ticket buyers and a breach of trust. Authorities allege that the promoters sold tickets far beyond capacity and did not inform authorities of the cancellation.

The way the decent diehard fans behaved: The so-called elite, educated and sophisticated crowd behaved like rogues or uncilized, barbarics. They very often criticize Indians for one or the other reason. Now what they say about their conduct? “As soon as the organisers announced that the show has been postponed, the crowd went berserk… people started pushing each other, broke barricades, started shouting and throwing water bottles,” Pankaj Kaushik, who waited for three hours for the show to begin, said. The venue was vandalised by upset fans, some of whom even ran around the ground shirt-less as a mark of rebellion. They threw bottles at the security personnel, who formed a human chain on the stage. Technical equipment was destroyed as angry fans threw chairs at the LED wall. “People have come from across various countries – Malaysia, China, Nepal, Indonesia, Singapore… but everybody is feeling robbed,” said Anurag Sharma, another disappointed fan.

Permission to conduct not obtained, but tickets started selling!: A permit to hold the concert on Saturday (30-10-2011) could not be obtained on short notice, and the show was subsequently canceled. That means, the organizers had taken the authorities for granted or they might tried to bribe them with huge money. Promoters said they would refund all ticketholders. So much for “…And Justice For All.” In a statement posted to the band’s website, Metallica wrote:

Once we, along with DNA, the promoters of the show, determined that there was a failure of a security barricade in front of the stage that could not be adequately repaired, the promoter reluctantly announced the postponement of the show until Saturday. Unfortunately, on such short notice the promoters were unable to secure a permit for a show on Saturday…We are deeply disappointed with this news as we were looking forward to our first experience in India as much as you guys were.”

Note, for him, he is not bothered about permission etc., but tickets were already sold, and they are sold on-line with “black-marketing” loaded. However, he accuses that the “barricade” was not repaired! Why he could not secure the permit on 29-10-2011, when the tickets were already stared selling?  Not exactly the best way to “Fade to Black.” Couldn’t somebody have just appealed to the “Master of Puppets”? Hopefully Metallica’s new nickname in India won’t be “The Unforgiven.” Ok, we’ll stop now, we promise. Sorry. We couldn’t resist.

Metallica gig mismanaged from the word go[6]: Now, comes the real story. It exposes the arrogance of the “Metallica” group also as they behaved like the cpolonial rulers.  Unfortunately, our “young idiots” do not understand and tell the facts.  After the Metallica gig in Gurgaon was cancelled on Friday evening, the reason cited by the organizers and the management of the band was a broken front barricade. But according to the people at the venue, the real reason was gross mismanagement and neglect on part of the organizers right from the beginning. Arjun Paruthi had reached Leisure Valley Park by 2pm. “The ticket said the opening acts were supposed to begin by 4pm. I didn’t want to miss out on anything.” But by the time the gates opened, it was already 3, and people swarmed the streets by thousands. “There was already chaos at the gates, and then people just rushed inside. The venue was quite full by 3.30pm,” he said. Arjun took his place right at the front like hundreds of others, leaning against the barricades. And then one of the barricades, which was particularly fragile, gave in. Vivek Seigell, who was in the audience with his 14-year-old daughter, recalled that as he took his place, not far from the stage, the venue was already packed beyond its capacity. “At the security gates, there were no checks. Nobody was checking the tickets. Many entered the venue without any ticket,” he said. Vivek added that nobody checked the bags at the gates, too, and many even sneaked in alcohol bottles. The crowd soon swelled so much that any movement within the venue became impossible. “So it is only understandable that one of the barricades gave in as the pressure from behind was immense,” he said. The crowd, he added, was already restless because of the delay. Soon, it was announced that the show would begin, followed almost immediately by another announcement that the team was trying to fix a “technical snag”. “The iron barricade had broken early on and for two hours, they tried to fix it by tying rods and poles,” said Karthik, who had entered the venue at 3.30pm. Around this time, crew members and organizers tried to push back the people near the broken barricade[7].

‘Move back you buttheads! Move back’,” – Oh Indians could you understand what it is? Oh clashing, arguing, rioting Indians move back, that is how the man shouted at the Indians. “This is the time when a crew member of Metallica, dressed in a grey T-shirt, says ‘Move back you buttheads! Move back’,” Rahul Sarin, a blogger who attended the concert, mentioned in his blog.  Around 6.15, the crew members of Metallica started dismantling their equipment set-up on the stage, seeing which the crowd started losing it. “By 6.30, they announced that the show was postponed by a day, and people started moving away. Many started booing, and some threw empty bottles on the stage,” said Pulkit, who came with his brother. He added that when the crowd booed and refused to leave the venue in disbelief, another announcer took the stage and said: “If you behave this way, Metallica won’t play tomorrow also.” This further riled the crowd up. “But even then, most people started to leave. And only about 20-30 people jumped the barricade, got on to the stage, and started tearing things apart,” said Atish, who came from Chandigarh. He said if the security people were present near the stage, the vandals could have easily been stopped. “The security was nowhere to be seen, and most of those who were present seemed least interested in what was happening until all hell broke lose,” he said. When nothing was done legally, why blame the security? For looters it has become a funny business[8].

Metallica has the notoriety of “running riot”: Metallica and rioting have been synonymous perhaps. The rioting has been associated with Metallica, as could be seen in the past programmes[9].

During Metallica’s show in Bogota Colombia in March 2010, Wednesday, March 10, a riot broke out when a group of ticketless fans showed up to crash the gates and barriers.  Rumors has it that Facebook posts encouraging fans to crash the gig. Because of this, police and 1500 officers were deployed to monitor the event.  Meanwhile, Metallica was not wavered with the chaos happening outside, instead they made the 30,000 fans satisfied with their electrifying heavy metal hits. Hundreds of ticketless fans were desperate to catch a glimpse of their metal heroes, causing them to go mad. The police used water hoses and tear gas while the rioters responded by throwing bricks at the officers. The protesters caused a lot of damage such as traffic signals, properties around the park. They even demolished walls to use rocks as missiles. According to reports, four fans and four police officers were injured,  one person suffered from a knife wound. At least 160  people were arrested[10] and 8 people were injured. Metallica last played in Colombia in May 1999. In  January, the band’s concert in Chilean capital Santiago was also spoiled by rioters, with 120 fans arrested after wild encounter with police.

In the Latin American countries, Metallica has the same notoriety – Columbia, Chile[11] and elsewhere[12]. Thus, there is nothing surprising that the same thing happened in India and the Indians have been made fools without informing about their precedence of discipline and good behavior. As a consumer, any fan of diehard or not-hard or soft-hard should know about his rights, instead of falling in line with the rogues and behave accordingly, as we Indians have age-long tradition of discipline. Even, they themselves have analyzed the reasons for the misbehaviour, misconduct etc[13]. The foreign media knows fully about the pattern as could be seen from their way of reporting, videographing the riots etc[14].

The modus operandi of the Metallica” appears to be like this: The modus operandai has been simple –

  1. Do not respect the law of the land.
  2. Be arrogant, do not get permission, but print tickets and sell.
  3. Sell tickets by any means, duplicate, black market and so on.
  4. Make the diehard fans to get gathered.
  5. Do not bother about the capacity of the hall / place etc.
  6. Make them “mad”.
  7. Call them “buttheads”,………………..
  8. Provoke them to run riot
  9. Arrest the fans, as they paid to get arrested
  10. Blame government / country for the security lapses
  11. Run away with loot.
